E-code vs Physical Gift Cards: A Guide for Indian Sellers
Understand electronic and physical gift cards, required evidence and why card format can affect an INR resale offer.
A digital code and a physical gift card may belong to different listings even when they share a brand and denomination. Identify the format before comparing offers.
What is an e-code?
An e-code is delivered electronically, for example in an original retailer email. A digital gift sent directly into a recipient account, a game key or subscription code is not automatically the same product as an unused gift card code.
What is a physical card?
A physical card is a tangible product with details printed on it. Keep the card and receipt available. Do not expose a hidden PIN just for a public photo or send private details outside the official submission flow.
Why offers can differ
Format, issuing country, currency, value and purchase evidence can change the available listing. Filter by the exact product rather than assuming all cards from one brand have the same resale rate.
What to prepare
Keep the product name, region, denomination and original purchase evidence together. Follow the specific verification requirements shown in your account. Do not submit account passwords or already redeemed credit as an unused code.
