Gift Card Face Value vs INR Payout: How to Read an Offer
Understand face value, INR resale rates, estimates and final payouts before comparing gift card offers in India.
Face value describes spending value under the issuerβs terms. A resale offer describes the amount offered for an eligible card. They are different amounts with different purposes.
Read the original denomination
Record both the number and currency: 100 USD and 100 INR are different values. For a partially spent prepaid gift card, do not present the original amount as the remaining balance; confirm eligibility first.
Calculate an indicative value
For illustration only, a $100 card at βΉ70 per USD produces a βΉ7,000 estimate before adjustments. This example is not a current Giftcard8 offer. Use a valid quote for your exact card.
Why a bank conversion is insufficient
A USD-to-INR currency conversion does not price a gift card. Brand demand, region, format, denomination and verification can affect resale value.
Check what will arrive
Review the final amount, payout currency and order terms. USDT has a separately quoted token amount and network. Never assume a displayed estimate means a completed or approved transaction.
